This course is aimed at primary school teachers looking to develop a broad range of responses to the spectrum of behaviours within the school environment.
The training places an emphasis on examining the social, emotional and mental health needs of pupils and the challenging behaviours that can arise when these needs are not met. The session enables participants to leave with a wealth of strategies which can be implemented to address the varying levels of behaviour, from commonplace low-level issues to serious incidents. Active participation in devising suitable interventions for pupils will be a significant practical component of this course.
