SCHOOL DIRECT (INFORMATION)

What are the benefits of a school centred course?

You will be joining an Outstanding school and its partners and from the outset you will be working with staff who have a proven record of training and professional development. Life in schools is busy and you will be given the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the teacher’s role. You will develop the rigour, professional knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to become a skillful, innovative and reflective teacher. We will provide practical training underpinned by theoretical research.  Our School Direct training for secondary is delivered in partnership with Partnership London SCITT

  • School Direct (Salaried)

    Key considerations:

I have 3 years of full time work experience

I have a relevant (subject specific) degree that is at least a 2:2 classification

I have undertaken observations of classroom practice

I would be ready to teach a modified timetable in September (up to 19 hours)

I would be paid a salary by the employing school.

I would be awarded QTS (PGCE top-up available)

  • School Direct (Tuition)

    Key consideration:

I have a relevant (subject specific) degree that is at least a 2:2 classification

I have undertaken observations of classroom practice

I would prefer a gradually incrementing timetable of teaching

I would fund the university fees (£9000) but may be eligible for a bursary.

I would be awarded a PGCE with QTS
