What are we looking for?
The Partnership Learning Teaching School Alliance is looking for ambitious trainee teachers who are enthusiastic about their subject and have a desire to share that with young people of all abilities in the secondary age range. We would expect candidates to have had previous experience of working with young people. This does necessarily have to have been paid employment. It would be an advantage if you have worked in a school or completed some classroom observations
How we select our trainees:
The lead schools within the Partnership Learning Teaching School Alliance, along with their accrediting partners, co-ordinate the recruitment processes for their phases: Warren Junior School for the Primary phase and Sydney Russell School for the Secondary phase.
The selection day will involve a series of tasks including subject knowledge and literacy, a formal interview and a taught lesson observation in line with our ITT providers’ selection procedures.
